Luke 22:36-38

³⁶ And he said to them, “But now the one who has a money bag must take it,^[a] and likewise a traveler’s bag. And the one who does not have a sword must sell his cloak and buy one. ³⁷ For I tell you that this that is written must be fulfilled in me: ‘And he was counted with the criminals.’^[b] For indeed, what is written^[c] about me is being fulfilled.”^{[d] 38} So they said, “Lord, behold, here are two swords!” And he said to them, “It is adequate.”
